Misk & Julian Wedding
Our
Story
Designed by Destiny,
Shaped by Five Cultures
It all started in Dubai, a city of contrasts, creativity, and unexpected connections. In the same month of the same year, we each arrived in this vibrant city from opposite sides of the world: one from Paris, the other from Sydney. Without knowing it, life had brought us to the same place at the same time; and was about to bring us together in the most beautiful and unexpected way.
As architects, we quickly found common ground in our shared passion for design, spaces, and the stories they tell. Long conversations about architecture turned into long walks, shared dreams, and eventually, a deep love rooted in curiosity and respect for each other, and for where we come from.
When we first met, I was on crutches not exactly the most graceful entrance! But instead of sympathy, he laughed and said, “If we grow old together, I’ll push you around in a wheelchair.” And somehow, that light-hearted joke turned into a promise neither of us expected to keep so seriously.
Our relationship is a celebration of cultures, Afghan, German, Australian, Moroccan, and French; and we’re so proud of the life we’ve built across borders, traditions, and time zones. Now, we’re beyond excited to begin this new chapter surrounded by all of you; the people who’ve supported us, inspired us, and been part of our journey.
